"Art Explorers" classes meet once a week  depending on the type of project being created.  These classes are designed to allow children the opportunity to explore different types of art media using a variety of techniques.     Age range for each class is as indicated.    All materials are included in the prices. 

Jan 22-Feb 12  (Sat)  "Winter Wonderland"  10:30-11:45  (waitlist only)
                        Create a wintry, swirling snow landscape using acrylic paint
                        on canvas.  4 week class for ages 6-12.  $60

Feb 19-March 12 (Sat)  "Sewing PJs"   10:30-11:45    (waitlist only)
                         Sewing for girls 9-12.  Learn how to read patterns, lay out
                         fabric and piece a garment.  Sew a pair of pajama bottoms.

Private and semi-private classes. 

     The Artful Mind offers private and semi-private classes as requested, as time permits.   (Currently available,  Tues. 6:00 and Thursday 4:00.)  If your child or small group is interested in learning about just about any aspect of art, a class can be created.   Fees will depend on group size and project.  For example, 1 child, 3 hour private lesson, $75 or  1 child, 1 hour, $25. 2 children, 1 hour $30 ($15 each).    Most materials are usually included.  Call for more information.
